What is this MCP

This is an official Model Context Protocol (MCP) client for Buildable, an AI-powered development platform that makes any project buildable. It enables AI assistants like Claude and GPT to directly interact with Buildable projects, allowing them to get project context, manage tasks, track progress, and collaborate with human developers.

How to use this MCP

Install via npm (npm install @bldbl/mcp) or use Smithery for automatic installation. Configure your AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Cursor AI, etc.) by adding the MCP server configuration with your Buildable API key, project ID, and AI assistant ID. Once configured, AI assistants can access tools like get_project_context, get_next_task, start_task, update_progress, complete_task, and create_discussion.
